Solarious Enables Better Monetization of Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SRECs) and Other Environmental Commodities

Source: coingecko

Solarious, a Layer-1 blockchain protocol built around Proof-of-Energy, today outlined how verified solar production on its network connects directly to Solar Renewable Energy Certificate (SREC) and other environmental-commodity settlement rails.

Each Solar Miner proof already carries a cryptographically signed, on-chain record of physical energy output. That same verified data — rather than a separate, manually audited filing — is what SREC and REC markets have historically required, but through slower, fragmented, broker-dependent processes.

By anchoring environmental-commodity value to the same Proof-of-Energy record used for $SOLAR issuance, producers gain a single, programmable path to monetize both the token reward and the underlying environmental credit — without duplicating paperwork or relying on regional registries alone.

This connects to Solarious' broader roadmap toward an environmental-commodity settlement layer, alongside its existing Solar Miner hardware, Verdex Wallet, and validator network.

About Solarious

Solarious is a Layer-1 blockchain protocol where token issuance and network security are derived from verified physical renewable energy production. The Solarious ecosystem includes Solar Miner hardware, the Verdex Wallet, a native decentralized exchange, Mining Pool infrastructure, and the CryptoCat community platform.
